Lakeland Canoe Club
Canoe Polo
Canoe Polo is a highly demanding
and enjoyable paddle sport. It can help to improve your paddling skills
and make you more competent on rivers.
We have a group of paddlers
who play regularly. Beginners are very welcome.
Inter-club tournaments are
arranged between local clubs allowing you the chance to show off your
ball and paddle skills gained at the pool sessions on Sunday nights.
Canoe Polo takes place at Kendal
Leisure Centre; a 25m heated pool from 9.15pm till 10pm on the 2nd,
3rd, 4th and occasional 5th Sunday each month.
A 15 minute skill session at 9pm before the polo starts will allow beginners
to practise vital skills like rolling.
Equipment is provided.
Just turn up and we’ll see you there! £5 for adults, £3
for students and £2 extra for non-members.
